Whoah. I've never really understood birding as a hobby but if you can take shots like that, yea, it makes sense now. The mallards!

Hrmmm, yes. All those years wasted searching for a lake monster and it turns out they just needed better swan photographers.
(The photos have an excellent mood to them, btw. The way the water sparkles work with the dark backdrop in the second one... definitely a vibe. What are you shooting with?)
