Sent out a dog application today, trying not to get my hopes up too high. I know the right dog for our family will find us when the time is right. We're either getting a dog for Christmas or going to Albuquerque (& getting a dog afterwards). We're going to be okay.

I'm not on much anymore either, I get it! She can't hear anymore, so no more scary fireworks or thunderstorms. But she has to know where I am so she checks on me every 45 seconds, no wonder she's so tired!

After moving to AZ we missed Detroit pizza so much that my husband learned how to make his own! Jets is here now (& the Little Caesars version is surprisingly not bad) but my husband's might be better than the original Buddy's

Churches don't all look like Joel Osteen's mega palace. I volunteer at a very small one in a poor community, they don't have a nickel but they put out donated food for the community twice a week, they offer a clothing closet, & they help immigrants getting out of ICE detention.

He has a rounded shell like a tortoise & flippers like a sea turtle, but the pattern is from Australia & who knows, maybe they have tortugas like that
