Exactly! Which means that unless you are Stephen King or Danielle Steele, 99.9999999% of the time, the answer to "Have you written anything I've read?" will be, "No."

My mother read The Hobbit aloud to my brother and me in 1966 when I was ten and my brother was eight. I was incensed because she censored some of the "Flies and Spiders" chapter to protect my arachnophobic brother from nightmares.
