The only reason I knew what to do was because of my prior experience as an investment banker.

By the time I had a clean cap table, the battle scars were so deep.

Anyone else will tell you startups are hard but a turnaround of a startup? You have no idea.

I took over as CEO of an idea that had legs but the cap table was a mess.

I negotiated with all the founders to dissolve the company and re-incorporate with a clean cap table so I could raise money.

Then I went on an assignment to turnaround (and sell) Pilgrim Pride (the chicken company). I hated it so much but this was my dream…

So I went to Harvard bc I needed an out and school always seemed like a good idea.

My first startup ended up being a turnaround.
