We are wired to learn from storytelling, and make deep connections through imaginative play. Creating art is also a way to essentialize, one of the most profound types of cognition. Art has a function in human society. AI can make pretty pictures, but it can’t replace this process for us. 2/2

Great questions on this thread. What makes art different? Art is a way to process and make meaning of the world around us. It’s a form of multimodal communication, of ideas born of our experiences and dreams, and our interpretations of the world around us, including others’ artworks. 1/2
