No surprise to me. It just didn't get better even midway through. IMO it was just poor execution and too much exposition in a short amount of time near the end. It was just...weird. Any silver linings or bright spots for you nonetheless?

WHOLE FAMILY. No home training or respect. That uncle is a fucking menace. He's the one who should've been left behind! Letting him talk to Kevin like that and boarding planes unscathed is wild.

I watched Home Alone 1 with a live orchestra playing last week and seeing people laugh at the way Kevin was ignored and bullied made this so abundantly clear. That's what's hard about watching it as an adult. And by the second movie? There needs to be an intervention for the whole family.

I saw you posting live and was wondering when you would reach the moment they went full broke boy agenda, lol. I was really disappointed by the second half of the movie, just like you. The movie went left out of nowhere and for no reason.
