Also, with both candidates being elderly, one becomes more concerned about the people they hire to run the country. Biden’s people will be at worst, to riff on P.J. O’Rourke, wrong within normal parameters, while Trump’s people will be historically sociopathic. Not a close call.

I know people really want to sell their books but have you considered when you start using the academic keyword/hashtag for the relevant historical discipline all of the academics stop using it and then junior scholars have no point of entry into the field discourse again
