I love that movie more than I should, mostly because my teenage self was desperately in love with Olivia Newton-John. But yes, fantastic soundtrack. Mediocre (at best) movie. I've seen it probably 20 times, but it's been three years since my last viewing. Maybe time for a rewatch...

You can't check off the penny thing just yet. Last I heard, they were still making them but will stop once the supply of blanks is consumed (early 2026). I would also not be surprised if they continue minting them for collectors for many years.

I'm skeptical of your comment that "It uses a lot less energy than TikTok". Do you have a source for this? It seems that there's a datacenter (and power generation) explosion happening right now - and I don't think a rise in social media is the cause.

I see many people claiming that two parties are built into the U.S. system, but nobody explains why or how. It seems to me that a motivated (and wealthy) group of people could form a third party, and with first-past-the-post, their candidate could win if they get 1/3 of the voters to join them.

Love this plugin, but there are a few sites (and seemingly more every week) that treat PB as an "ad blocker" and won't let me past. Case in point: The Hollywood Reporter. Can someone suggest how to deal with these sites? I've filed reports, but never seen a response.

Put your content everywhere your (potential) audience is. For instance, I don't listen to podcasts, but I might watch if they are on YouTube. Do you make video recordings of your audio work?
