What’s is his select committee going to “investigate” if he already knows Trump’s not to blame?

10 Trillion dollars has not come into the US, you muppet.
January 22, 2026 at 2:56 AM
It’s amazing how many Americans have such a limited understanding of how their political system works.
January 21, 2026 at 10:29 PM
The US could have had this. You have loads of intelligent, articulate leaders, but they are “not charismatic” so you elect a buffoonish huckster
January 21, 2026 at 9:03 PM
Yeah, the usual tired and completely false “both sides are the same”.
January 21, 2026 at 8:52 PM
If you did not learn your lesson this time, you never will. Good luck.

I don’t foreclose the possibility of finding $100 on my way to the grocers, but that does not mean I leave my wallet at home in anticipation of my find.

Now apply that logic to the enormous responsibility of selecting the person with their finger on the nuclear trigger.

Possible? Yes
Probable? No

This is what I refer to as being cute with words.
January 21, 2026 at 6:56 PM
This what you get when you let the monkeys run the zoo.
January 21, 2026 at 6:54 PM
At some point we have to accept that they are not “afraid of Trump” or his mob, they are just as ignorant and stupid as he is.
January 21, 2026 at 6:46 PM
The outcome is binary, despite the cute comebacks.
January 21, 2026 at 6:42 PM
No bad faith assumed….but still, phrasing makes a difference.
January 21, 2026 at 5:05 PM
“Negotiations for Greenland”.

There you go, helping to move the Overton window on this insane illegality.
January 21, 2026 at 4:16 PM
These are the people we entrust to choose who holds the nuclear trigger.
January 21, 2026 at 4:12 PM
Face it - it’s not just Trump. It’s the irresponsibility of the US voter and the cowardice of Congress that sound the death knell for NATO. They demonstrate the unreliability of the US as an ally.
January 21, 2026 at 3:25 PM
Not even an asset, more likely a useful idiot.
January 21, 2026 at 3:22 PM
I mean, you elected a President who, when Russian tanks cross the border into Europe, will have his thinking coloured by “Norway did not give me a Nobel”.

Article 5 is dead.
January 21, 2026 at 3:21 PM
We have seen this since 2016, and yet enough American thought he should be elected again and given the nuclear codes.
January 21, 2026 at 3:14 PM
I could not understand a word either of them were saying. If this is what America listens to every night, no wonder the country is so divided.
January 21, 2026 at 3:13 PM
This is an out-of-date question. NATO is already destroyed. What remains is to see if/how Europe & Canada can respond to the new situation. NATO relied on Art 5 for deterrence. Trump has ended that.
January 21, 2026 at 3:09 PM
A question like this should always have a third option of “Neither”.
January 21, 2026 at 12:55 PM
Scott Jennings is a smug asshole. One of the main reasons I stopped watching CNN.

If Elon the Nazi is expecting to sell many of his cars in Canada he’s got a nasty surprise coming.
