Regent's Park, 2 Marylebone Road, NW1 4DF The complex from which "First Desk" - Ingrid Tearney, Claude Whelan and finally Diana Taverner - runs Britain's domestic intelligence services is based here, or hereabouts. Diana's office is on the top floor, denied a window view by the terrorist threat - at least from here she can keep an eye on the boys and girls toiling away in the hub. On the roof, illicit cigarettes are smoked and off-the-record meetings held. In the bowels deep below, the brightly-painted Molly Doran wheels herself around an archive stuffed with the secrets of an analogue era. In another, different basement, a team called "The Dentists" conduct deniable interviews. There are many candidates in the vicinity of the park but this building seems a good fit. The Melia Hotel opposite is an alternative, and the version used in the TV series can be found at the Old Naval College Mews in Greenwich.
