Waiting for the axe to drop on Gill insulates the government from any Faragist crap about being unfairly targeted. Although he’ll probably try it anyway. I don’t think this story is over.

I’ve been saying this for ten years now but possibly not often enough: Ask Them What They Think The Words They’re Using Mean. And then ask them to name the ‘problematic’ people. We had ‘sovereignty’, ‘laws’ & ‘unelected bureaucrats’. The US now has ‘Antifa’, the ‘radical left’ & ‘insurrection’. Ask!

Farage dodged parliament, went to the US, slagged off the UK, lied to Congress, grifted for donations and hoped to persuade the US to punish us for the Online Safety Act. And got his arse handed back to him.
You’d think our ‘patriotic’ media would go nuts. But no. Some quiet mumbling. Beyond feeble.

He’s always so shit in the face of decent questioning. Absolutely amazing how rarely it happens.
Democrat @raskin.house.gov excoriates Nigel Farage for banning journalists from Reform UK events:

"I'm asking you a direct question. Why do you ban journalists who oppose your views from coming to your events? Why did you tell local government not to do interviews with your local newspaper?"

"The honourable member for Clacton isn’t here… he’s in America badmouthing Britain, lobbying for sanctions on his own country. You cannot get more unpatriotic than that. A disgrace."
Farage is colluding with foreign politicians, spreading disinfo, and chasing personal gain.

Brexit was an attempted counter-revolution against many of the changes this country has gone through since 1945. It has turned out to be a failure with elements of farce. This has driven many people on the Right completely mad.

Brexiters used to say that once we had left the EU, UK politicians could no longer use the EU as a scapegoat for our failings.

The same Brexiters have since chosen asylum seekers as an alternative scapegoat. And they haven't totally given up on the EU either.

I appreciate logic isn't their strong suit but how will the Faragists who lie about the UK being much more dangerous than US cities square their lies with Donald Trump's lies about US cities being really, really dangerous?

Our media is increasingly mad, menacing and far right. Labour appears to fear it, rather than having the courage to expose it. And it’s there to be exposed in all its bitter, inadequate, prejudiced uselessness. There is a far better story to tell. Like you, so many of us long for someone to tell it.
