Europe, stop freaking out over every crazy thing Trump says. He will keep saying crazy things every day, and he changes his mind constantly. Focus on what YOU are going to do to advance Ukrainian victory and undermine Russia.

The Oval Office showdown exposed the erosion of diplomatic norms and respect, writes philosopher Slavoj Žižek in his op-ed.
Trump’s Oval Office clash with Zelensky killed diplomacy
The showdown between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office on Feb. 28 shocked the entire world. But instead of analyzing its political impact, let’s...

I know it's easy to ridicule the EU in the current geopolitical hellscape. It's still a fact that the EU is a historical success as a peacekeeping & economic force, with a GDP pretty much equal to that of the USA. It might be 50/50, but Europe rising to the occasion in Ukraine really is possible.

@realjakebroe.bsky.social is right. The question is…why did these former Soviet Republics and former Warsaw Pact nations rush to join NATO as soon as possible? Because they are not confused about Russian intentions and brutality. Nobody is knocking on the Kremlin’s door asking to get back in.
NATO expansion is a myth. It is a Russian lie. Here is the map.

After World War II the Russians militarily occupied half the European continent. The Russians picked their leaders. They wrote their laws. They brutalized their people and took whatever they wanted.

The anti imperialist outrage at this butchery of civilians was intense. Not. They actually think we kill fewer civilians than Israel does.

Adding the words "civilian areas" after the words "Russia is bombing" should by now be an unnecessary clarification.
