Contacted my state senators to oppose proposed cuts to Medicaid. The potential $880B in cuts over the next 10 years would have a devastating impact on the health of our most vulnerable populations, (children, seniors, people with disabilities…). Health care is a human right and must be protected.

I’m grateful to afford health insurance. Being self employed with a family of four, a quality plan is a significant cost for us. Unfortunately, costs may increase and be too high for many Coloradans. Coupled with Medicaid cuts, a huge portion of our population may soon be without health coverage.

He’s still getting a lot wrong (read the article), but he finally got one thing right. Vaccines save lives and we need MMR vaccines to fight off the current measles outbreak. Everyone is on the same page now, right???
