This is devastating… The Senate has passed the GOP domestic policy bill, which advances Trump’s agenda, by a vote of 51–50, with Vice President JD Vance casting the tiebreaking vote.

Contacted my state senators to oppose proposed cuts to Medicaid. The potential $880B in cuts over the next 10 years would have a devastating impact on the health of our most vulnerable populations, (children, seniors, people with disabilities…). Health care is a human right and must be protected.

I’m grateful to afford health insurance. Being self employed with a family of four, a quality plan is a significant cost for us. Unfortunately, costs may increase and be too high for many Coloradans. Coupled with Medicaid cuts, a huge portion of our population may soon be without health coverage.
Costs will spike, 100,000 Coloradans will lose health coverage if Trump spending bill passes, regulators say
Colorado's Division of Insurance estimates 110,000 people could lose health coverage due to the end of enhanced subsidies, GOP spending bill.

We (me and other married women who took their partner's name, my brother and his wife who created a new surname together, trans people who are forming their true identity, others) shouldn't have to do this.
