(Ana)baptist pastor of a small-town rural Church. Love God, Love people. This sums up the law and the prophets.
Episcopalians call their ministers priests too, I do believe.

She either knows how to play the game better than any of us thought, or she genuinely believes he is innocent.

If she doesn’t fold she will outlast Trump, and may be poised for a strong future in whatever conservative politics look like after he, quite possibly, goes down in flames.

This is why Catholicism will probably outlast Evangelicalism. Evangelicalism refuses to look upon its own brokenness, at least, in most cases. It has torn its own eyes out, and silenced its own tongue.

Which, as an evangelical, is so incredibly frustrating.

Voice like a saxophone! Or trombone, I can never remember.

Is this not the epitome of virility and steamy hot masculinity? Who can blame her?

It’s all fun and games until grandma AI tells you it’s ok to commit suicide, and here’s the best way to keep it secret so no one stops you.

Not even the Middle Ages. Women used natural sedatives during that time. Not as effective or safe as modern medicine, but they would have been more than willing to use it if had been available to them.

Call me crazy, but I think the book of Kells is a masterpiece of art.

That could certainly solve a lot of problems.

Something tells me they’d split up into factions since they’d no longer have a common enemy, and the island would be in a constant state of civil war.

That one is shocking.

Actually, the religions that are more open to mystical approaches to spirituality are further down this list on this chart.

Evangelicals don’t like mysticism, generally speaking.

There’s a part of me that says “I don’t know how Trump’s political career can survive this” and another part of me that remembers I’ve said that dozens of times about other things that should have killed his political career through the years.

People will put up with a lot of corruption to win.

The CR leaders are so damningly pragmatic I don’t expect more than for them to go with the flow, whatever that is from Conservative politics. The rank and file, I’m more curious about. Access Hollywood wasn’t as widely known as it should have been. This on the other hand, I think everyone will know

I always figured it was both of them. The one thing the Clintons and the Trumps could agree on, Epstein was better off dead, at least for them.

We are also going to begin a church by church donation drive to help raise money for the repairs their building badly needs.

It’s good to have some moments where I’m proud of the SBC, even if it’s just the local association doing the right thing.

Not gonna lie. Bovino reminds me of this guy from the Hunger Games

It looks like it came from the clearance section of Dollar General.

David Eddings Belgariad and Elenium series. They awoke in me a desire for a closer and more mystical connection to the divine that runs deeper than the mere church attendance and Bible memorization of my youth.
