The Fallout series follows a nearly identical trajectory to The Elder Scrolls. Created in 1997 by Tim Caine, who is notably not Todd Howard, the og title remains an extremely difficult recommendation.

Nobody could ever accuse Todd Howard of being bad at his job. He's an outstanding businessman who has made Bethesda an enormous amount of money, but he's not an artist in any way, shape, or form.
