It’s almost wild to think that democracy exists due to the agreement between people to keep democracy. Once that pretense is dropped we go straight to pilfering the coffers and ignoring the rule of law.
The real issue is will people accept lawless behavior because they might get short term benefit

Getting a 50 year “starter” loan to gain enough appreciation to sell and finance a 30 year loan. Presuming the loan is never defaulted and housing prices go up, home ownership would likely no longer a single generation goal.
Banks would make 3x the housing values just here and hope someone defaults
