At least 8 democratic senators care more about the filibuster, a tool which is primarily designed to block mostly progressive legislation, than protecting Americans from skyrocketing healthcare premiums. For shame.

This orchestrated cave-in is so shamefully driven directly by corporate interests, and happened as soon as it became clear that airlines would face disruption as a result of the shutdown, which, again, raises the pressure on Republicans to make a deal. Or we could just lay down and die…

the whole strategy of appealing to the right by like trying to do cruel things here and there that are completely out of character to like seem tough, that strategy is idiotic and literally has been tried to death and it continues to fail 9 out of 10 times.

NYT graphic on their live election data shows the vast majority of what remains to be counted is for Crawford in particularly urban environments. This is looking pretty damn good.
