My 18yo overheard part of the book and asked, "why are you subjecting yourself to this kind of trauma?!?" And I told her I had to know how it ends... it was a compulsion!

Surprisingly, most of the books I have on hold are 12+ hours. I found a few around 8 hours to read next.

If I ever finish this traumatizing time I'm mired in. Never thought I'd use "traumatizing" and "mired" in a positive book review...

I'm very bad at oral communication (I was going to say "in French" but I'm shit at any kind of conversation) - both speaking and understanding. But my confidence at reading and writing it has grown immeasurably since college.

In both languages, I'll add.
