Acrylic markers are very handy! I used them to paint this picture. I used brushes, dampened them, and then just took colour from the tip of whatever marker I chose. I've a set of 240. The background was done with proper paints and much dry brush but the portrait itself was using markers & brush.

Dog portrait finished. A pencil Pastel picture requested by someone to commemorate a recently deceased family pet. It looks such a lovely dog and I hope it's a fitting tribute for the owner.

Nice weather of late. The celtic summer started on May 1 and that inspired a few colourful pieces of rock art to be left for people to find in the local park. #art #Bealtaine #Rockart

Watched Wales v Ireland rugby and this guy was immense. He fought for everything and came off bloodied in the end but not beaten. Here's my sketch of Bundee Aki, enjoying the winning after the game. Bualadh Bos Bundee! #BundeeAki #Rugby #SixNations #6Nations

That RED warning has been further extended and now it covers Wicklow in the East. I'm literally 3km from that county border so this is going to be one for me to watch with much concern.

Met Eireann upgrading their warnings too to RED for parts of the west and north West. Amber for the rest of the country. This is serious stuff

It's just a lighthouse but it's a Cascais lighthouse. Beautiful location, gorgeous weather and a nod to the summer weather we didn't have back in Ireland. 😎
