Don’t get me wrong, Creation compels me to awe and worship all the time. I am moved to say the Benedicite every time I summit a mountain in the Adirondacks. But I don’t reckon I would have responded that way without having had a Bible and a parish back home first.

I mean this with respect, but can a raven proclaim the Gospel? Or administer communion? Pray for the dead? The Church is the handmaiden of God. Christ came as a man. I’d argue that Creation at-large only takes on an evangelical valence when we are trained to see it by faith.

I’ve missed you too! And many others. That’s why I’m sticking around. I’m like Substack for now, though. And real life off the internet. Forgot how fun that place is.
