Alright, we're actually doing this open working thing.

We're going to work on projects, for real clients who are set up to make people's lives tangibly better.

We can only do that if it works financially though because we've got mortgages etc.

Your support will make this happen.
We’re trying a rather radical new approach at Piccalilli by doing real world projects — for real clients — in the open. This gives us a context to provide genuine high quality, real world education for free at the point of entry.
We need your support to do free projects for good causes and publish free high quality education

I recently joined the board of trustees for my town library because I wanted to serve in my community, away from politics. That was a adorable notion.

Musk revolutionized rocket construction by building them like software: make, test, iterate. NASA can’t routinely blow up rockets. When SpaceX ships stop blowing up, humans ride in them.

The fundamental problem DOGE doesn’t understand with government is humans are always on the ship.

Since my time with the U.S. Treasury came to an end on January 20, I'm now available 10 hours/week for consulting. My expertise is the budgeting, procurement, and oversight of major custom software projects. If that is relevant to your interests, let me know!

We're entering a dark period in US #accessibility.

The White House home page has a bunch of links with "aria-hidden" and "tabindex=-1".

This hides the links from assistive tech like screen readers & makes them unreachable with just a keyboard.

Critical #WCAG compliance errors! But who can sue?

FYI, Orbital put out a best of album "A Beginners Guide" last month. It's pretty good focus music if you are into that.
