Reflecting on the making of "Born to Run," in 2009, Bruce told James Henke, “The sound I heard in my head was not one that was physically reproducible.” Undeterred, he took six months to record the title track — and guided Clarence Clemons’ iconic solo on “Jungleland,” singing it phrase by phrase.
