Parents and soon to be parents, I BEG of you to please read to your children. Work to foster a love of the written word that is created by an actual human rather than some stale piece of software. There are an awful lot of things that might be different if we actually read more.

Thursday night marks the beginning of my 9th year of teaching an Instruction and Learning class as an Adjunct Professor in the Education Department at UPG. Those of us who’ve been around for a while would know it as a Methods course.

We were talking about current concert ticket prices & I mentioned only way I’d pay $1000 for a concert would be if I got to choose the set list - which started our challenge: the Ultimate Set List Challenge. Yesterday’s was for The Cure - first two are mine, then next two are his.

Incredibly proud of, and happy for this young lady, who officially committed to Slippery Rock. She is the epitome of what hard work can do, and I will be talking about this for years to come. Beyond that, she is just an incredibly genuine person as well. Coach Over is getting a super kid in Sloane!
