As impressive as the four Habs goals were to take the lead, equally impressive was the job that Monty did in that second period, to keep them in it, and keep the lead. The turning poin of the season for him? Big, if true. #GoHabsGo #Canadiens

Sorry @bwildemtl.bsky.social, it looks like things just aren't working for your Oilers. Time to tear it down and rebuild. That starts next week with Draisaitl and McDavid for all Habs picks in this year's draft, Mailloux, Roy, Beck, Dach, Newhook and Dobes. You heard it here first! lol

Juraj Slafkovsky said that they all had to be better after game 2, starting with himself. He's kept up his end of the bargain and so has the rest of the team. I feel like I'm watching old school Habs vs. Nordiques playoffs here. #GoHabsGo #Habs

Not sure if anyone is noticing but that was good work by Slaf again carrying the puck in and holding the Ghost off. Also, wow, does it seem Guhle can put his money where his mouth is. Clutch. #GoHabsGo

That was Slaf's work retrieving the puck and keeping it in the zone. Needs to keep bringing that intensity. #GoHabsGo

The draft is weak this year. There's a big drop off at 10.

Statistically, mid-teen is a 65% land rate as an NHLer and a 10% land rate as a star.

This year, that is probably about 50% land and 6% star.

It's a good year for Hughes to package his 2 first round picks for a 2C.

See COTW for more...
The Canadiens were stymied into submission by the Hurricanes, but thank goodness I did a comprehensive Wilde Cards on the 2C hunt, including who moves out of town in a trade.
