Highway 1 south of Big Sur and north of Lucia has been closed for over a year due to this massive landslide.

Seeing the videos of the SuperScoopers grabbing water from the Pacific to put on the fires, I'm just waiting for the California Environmentalists (tm) to start complaining about how salt water is bad for the forests.

105 hours on the year and ten new airports.
It would have been more but my plane decided to break twice (bad alternator and then a flat tire, both on the first flight of the day to fly Young Eagles).

91 hours for the year, 40 hours less than 2022 thanks to all the rain and some airline travel.
Only 5 new airports, but I did successfully land below sea level.
