I saw her at a neighborhood meeting a few years ago where she was pressed on her vote regarding the Hiawatha Golf Course

I don't remember what she said exactly, but she was struggling to justify her vote and almost seemed to argue the other position.

It was disappointing the amount of time we had to spend arguing over whether we should have bathrooms at parks (in this case, around Cedar Lake)

I walked by Painter Park earlier today, and I thought about how well that Park seems to be as a gathering place.

I enjoy seeing people skateboarding there or just hanging out.

I believe all parks (especially regional) should have features needed to be comfortable and wanted there.

Having served on a Community Advisory Committee, I think a lot about how we need parks to be a third space for everyone in the community.

Too many want parks to be an extension or their backyard and not something for visitors outside the city or even the neighborhood to enjoy.

Yes, those are the newest maps.

The commissioners were elected in 2021 under the old maps. I think that's why those are on the website.
