Finally got a cd player and found this gem in my box of old dics. My mom listened to the Mountain my whole childhood and taking her to the 5:20 Flight of the Conchords show to cheer her up after my dad died set me on a course of love all things kiwi comedy.

Working on a project and found this gem of an allowance contract between my 12 year old self and parents. My kids can hardy believe I had to do chores DAILY and pay for my own craft supplies. Noticeably absent is the amount of the allowance. Tricky tricky parents!

When a friend recommended TLP, this little puppy face appeared and it was love at first sight. TLP has used PetFinderDotCom for years, but now PF is changing their default settings to not show out of town dogs. This reduces the chance pups like Douglas Firdinand won't find their forever homes.

I’m literally in the middle of cleaning out the chicken coop and decide to come in for a quick sec to finish the coffee pot. The other pets are determined to not let me finish.

A few years ago while doing a kitchen remodel I made a meal plan that changed my life. I learned if I do all the planning, grocery shopping, and writing down the plan on a shared calendar, my #ADHDpartner will make the meal and I get to eat amazing dinners like this tofu rice bowl.

Spent a few days in the palm desert for the first time this week, wish I had more time to explore Joshua Tree national park. The landscape is other worldly and beautiful. Grateful for those before me who preserved this land for my generation and my kids generation. Hopefully we can pay it forward 🌵

It took me to the last day of my 4 day weekend to complete the top of my to do list - put Halloween decorations away. The yogi skeletons are my favorite and every year I think of leaving them up year round.

Leveled up (literally) to a 240v outlet this week & just submitted my @mytpu.bsky.social $400 rebate which nearly cuts the cost in half. Couldn’t decide on a charger so went with the flexibility of using the Leaf provided L2 charger. Full charge overnight now!

IYKYK. 20 years ago the beer scene in Bellingham was not at all what it used to be. BB was the classy joint before you ended the night at the ‘beave. When I got married 15 years ago, one of our three kegs was the Scotch Ale. Thanks Tacoma Boys for letting me say goodbye to the end of an era.

First Saturday in a long time I wasn’t rushing out the door for kids sports. Made an apple bourbon cake and earl grey cookies then walked the dog to get more coffee and read in the park while the eldest does his sports practice. Walkable neighborhood joy & why I love living in Tacoma.

This is an exceedingly rare occurrence of my very strong “orange cat energy” kitty deigning to sit on my lap. Is this the Etsy Witch magic at work?? I can get down with baseball like this (Ms are up 5-0 I as I post this and cat has settled in) ⚾️✨🐈
