I have a funny problem with sit down Italian restaurants. Because of my Anglo-American side, my brain classes them like other 'ethnic' restaurants. But because of my Italian -American side, when I actually get there it's all comfort foods. #foodsky

Thanks everyone who's supported my fly shop. My sales are small potatoes, but it's been way more successful than I dreamed. I've sent flies to 23 zip codes in 17 states, and sold over 3x my expected best case scenario. Thank you all for the support!

Got samples in of my POD camp mug designs and brought one to office camp. Overall, I'm pleased with how they turned out. However, I decided to hit pause on trying to sell them while I figure out whether they fit with my core mission of tying great #tenkara flies.

When you buy flies, how much do you care about the hook brand? The hooks I use for the shop are getting hard to come by, especially in the most popular size.

I was able to get three flies out of the end of this spool. These three flies, to be precise. Had to hold the end of the thread by hand to whip finish the last one but we got it done! Available à la carte or in the Tenkara Starter Collection.

Yet again managed to go fishing without taking pics. Had a great time working over some very fishy water, but no takers. Lots of pockets, runs, and edges to pick apart. My travel speed was about 50 yards an hour.
