Ah but they say “t-shirts, shorts, blouses, pants and swimwear” when I think they mean trousers!

Ah interesting, I hadn’t thought about that

And in the article body it uses £, you’d expect them to at least be consistent - “Shein's success lies in volume - the inventory online runs into the hundreds of thousands - and deep discounts: £10 dresses, £6 sweaters, prices that hover below £8 on average”

Very strange letter - they have £1m pension pot but seem determined not to spend it and instead want their children to inherit it with as little tax as possible. I don't see how fixing the loophole that pensions can be passed down taxfree (whereas an ISA can't) ruins their own happy retirement

Incredible lack of moderation

Lots calling for the murder of Musk and other CEOs however, the moderation does seems rather selective

Yes works in theory but I think they also don't realise how cutting "woke federal waste" will end up being stuff they do care about, ie just today Musk retweeted this about "wasteful" medicare spending

Yes, here having the lowest support for libertarianism - I think they want big government but for them and only them, quite different from the Trump/Elon maga/doge movement.

"As part of their revenge campaign, crypto traders continued to buy into Gen Z Quant" - I don't really understand how creating new and bigger bagholders is revenge on the originator?

This doesn't seem surprising when you see the prompts that tell it pursue a simplistic goal "at all costs" or "nothing else matters", while also suggesting specific obstacles (being shutdown etc) to overcome. It feels like they've designed the scenarios to generate these outcomes / headlines

So sending death threats to people is bad? I'd rather bluesky had a higher standard of discourse from Twitter, not just different politics

People seem to be going far further than just "not crying over the loss of capitalists" bsky.app/profile/jtp....
hypothetically, would it be considered an actionable threat to start emailing other insurance CEOs a simple "you're next"? completely unrelated to current events btw

Ah interesting, thankfully very different in UK law - I guess we'll know we've achieved AGI when LLMs can libel with malice instead of just dodgy tech!

The Jonathan Turley case seemed particularly egregious, certainly not a nusiance claim? www.ibtimes.co.uk/chatgpt-fals...

"LLMs are tools. Like most tools, the focus of liability for misuse should fall on the users, not the tool. Users need to learn that the output of LLMs may not be accurate" - surely in the cases of the LLMs straight out libelling someone then the system owner should take full responsibility?

The guardian also has it as their top story, so perhaps is the media loves talking about the media? Or worse, given how they have all the viewing data, they know it is more clickable by readers than all the actual news happening!

Strange not to mention how heavily censored/ aligned it is to the Chinese government values?
