The Trans Rights demo yesterday was beautiful and hopeful. So many diverse people from all walks of life coming together - the word I kept thinking about was "community". You can spend billions buying sycophants. Or a cigar. But all the billions cannot buy community. And that's why we will win.

This is a terrific examination of the cultural phenomenon A Minecraft Movie. I particularly love the John Waters quote: “In order to know something is bad, one has to have good taste. But one also needs to be able to understand the value of bad.”
