I'm looking for the details, and the ideal hand-hold. Please don't give me operating instructions in pictures, I learnt English.
I remember when we used to compare Kemi to a mean, twisted, vacuous person.

... our society rightly prosecutes individuals for causing harm to another, yet seems to give immunity to ministers who knowingly cause harm on this scale.

Trish, once again I'm feeling so grateful to you and all iS for giving us access to the reality of the situation at that time. Reading the report today and trying hard to keep down my anger.
I only wish it didn't use the "avoidable deaths" language, but said "knowingly responsible for those deaths."

I'd almost forgotten how angry his stammering buffoon act can get me. I watched as much as I could take - every word, phrase that comes from him portrays him as innocent victim, or bystander. "Government" did this, "they" said that, "it was felt that..." etc etc. Foul excuse for a human.

It was obvious he was simply a two-faced little tick, from the get-go. Simple as that.

Good to hear, but these are just two clueless Tories who didn't cover their tracks sufficiently. Meanwhile Johnson and Handcock walk free despite their dereliction of duty with regard to care homes and much more.

Of course, increased frequency and extended hours would be desirable, but given the constraints of government funding, we appear to be better served in this constituency than is the norm, nationally.

Local LD member, full supporter of our MP. But I found some of the criticism of our local buses rather extreme. In my experience, many Compass services are usually dependable (around 90%+ so), and the 28 and 29, including B'ton to E'bourne, are mainly let down by a few B&H drivers' attitude issues.

No words in the dictionary go low enough to describe this poor facsimile of a human being. Those who don't see through him should ring alarm bells for us all on our education system.

Indeed, I wish it looked as if our govt. was eager for the results, so they could drive or inform preparedness.
May 24, 2025 at 11:56 AM
Steve, I often think how very grateful I am to IndySage. The clear, honest information you gave enabled us to interpret & navigate the mis- & disinformation flowing from the sociopaths in govt. Far from bringing justice, I fear this Enquiry won't even result in readying us for the next pandemic.

Agree entirely, it's just the transformation of all pensioners from 'poor old' to just plain 'rich' that I find so irritating.
The maths exists to spread the load equally, banding will always be divisive.
May 6, 2025 at 12:57 PM
I can't imagine any 'kind of' that could justify blaming them entirely, or am I missing the link? Starmer's bizarre indecisive procrastination is just encouraging group v group blaming all round.
May 6, 2025 at 12:27 PM
Yes, much better to kick flavour-of-the-month evil group, the 'rich' pensioners, than to spread the load evenly across society. Because of course, the pensioners are entirely responsible for keeping the Tories in power for fourteen years.

You're flattering him by saying there's a target - drunk throwing darts says it all.
April 23, 2025 at 5:55 AM
There's joy in what you describe, Trish. The other is a mean, ugly old man, trying to stamp his pathetic little feet... when he remembers where they are.

Great news to hear you've recorded a brand new album, you're not just banging out the old hits!
March 26, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Really good in a stew or chilli, never thought of toasting them.

Maybe stop giving the idiot column inches? Just a thought.

Practice Manager has been helpful when daft dead-ends have arisen.

I met someone once at the Archeogical Society who fitted this description perfectly.
