The Harvey Milk and the other USNS ships Hegseth wants to rename are non-commissioned ships with a primarily civilian crew. The are part of the John Lewis class of USNS ships. There is absolutely no legitimate reason to rename these ships. It’s a blantant racist and sexist move.

DT probably believes they didn’t do anything wrong or that if they did, they are not the kind of people who should be put in prison for it.
