Thought you might appreciate Jane Goodall's last interview, at 91 years and a week before her passing. Still so salient and active to the very end, especially the part about creating new narratives. May she rest in peace.

#Sharks, prehaps the most maligned of all animal taxa. Gross ecological imbalance created by people, stoked by a false Hollywood portrayal and a betrayal of our cartilaginous cousins. The most graceful creature I ever swam with, sorry #dolphins.

Having lived most of my life in Miami and Carribean, I must say this is absolutely reckless!
Weather and climate research funds are being “chainsawed” from NOAA's budget. Last I checked, Louisiana & Florida, which are maximally susceptible to Hurricanes, voted Red in the last General Election.

Wondering if residents there knew in advance this would happen.

This sounds significant. Section 15 of Ireland’s Climate Act requires public bodies to act in a way to further the Climate Action Plan and Long Term Strategy - threat of legal action should compel them to include climate in their core mandates.
