It’s my weakness! Despite generally writing harem stuff, I prefer it when everyone adores everyone, at least within the group. Cuddles for everyone! I let the antagonists and troubles of the story be external. :)

I personally don’t think so. Not without some DAOT tech, which the nails already are, I believe. The nails replaced to much of his brain, and the tech they have, even in the heresy era, just doesn’t seem good enough to replace it. Even when he’s full on daemon, ripping them out kills him outright.

Agreed! The “misunderstanding and not communicating” trope is one of my biggest pet peeves in media, it’s so frustrating.

Amusingly, I was just writing a bit about this earlier! A scene where Kael (the MC) and his little family meet with Orin (a fellow Champion) who has some questions about his own relationship!

One thing that keeps cropping up for me is the character that acts silly, whimsical and ditzy, but is actually quite smart underneath it all. Dropping the silly act for a serious moment, giving a heartfelt and serious moment, before going back to their lighthearted manner. It’s so fun!

Same! It's amusing to be writing a scene and have that moment of "Oh, we're doing this now, I guess!"

When I started novelizing my writing a few months back, I made the mistake of telling my parents that I published a novel. My mom immediately went and bought a copy.

I write monster girl harem fantasy. My mom is in her 60s. I was so embarrassed. She did say she liked my writing, though! 😅
