The Covid subsidies were intended to be temporary! It is time to take the needle out of the arm, even though pain will come with it.
I am a democrat and I support protecting health care, but I do not support continuing subsidies that were initially passed as emergency COVID relief. That emergency has passed, yet we the democrats hang on to EVERYTHING which contributes to our debt issues.

No to extending subsidies that initially were Covid giveaways. I am a democrat but we must be reasonable and stop with continually granting benefits that we are never willing to relook at.

Unbelievably sad times right now. I am in Thailand walking through some of the horrors of WWIi today, and all that I could think about was that appeasing demagogues and dictators leads to mass suffering on a wholesale level…ALWAYS!

My daughter actually read the entire bible in a year when she was around 15. It was intense...but she readily acknowledges that she doesn't remember what she read!
