Yeah it's been a couple of years since I published a book, but I am dreading some dingus dropping an early review on my next release calling it (or my cover art) AI. The double whammy of AI stealing from creatives coupled with real work being doubted is just... it's brutal.

Additionally in the five departments I've supported over the years, the admins are almost always young women in their first "adult job" and they get treated like absolute trash by the faculty, last 2-3 years, and leave burned out and traumatized, and no one does anything to address it.

I've been in Academia for almost 26 years and cannot even count the number of times I've brought terrible faculty behavior to the Chairs and Deans and I just get a shrug or "Well, they're tenured, soooooo...". 😖🙄😑
