The scales are ornate and made from a dark metal, thin chains hold each measuring dish. A golden eye with a single teardrop beneath it hovers over the left dish. Four silver diamonds arranged so a lattice is formed by the space around them hovers over the right dish. Beneath these, the pen-name "Bramble" is written in capital letters. All text for the cover is white. The background of the cover shows a bridge and various buildings beyond it. Lamps are positioned along low walls on either side of the bridge and are brightly lit. There is also a singular statue along the left wall. Though obscured by the right dish in the foreground, two people walking on the bridge can be seen with their backs to the viewer. Beyond that bridge, there are several silhouetted buildings which gradually fade the further from the bridge they are. The background only consists of different shades of blue, with snow falling across the image of the bridge and city behind it.
