Yes, I agree, it's not only humans who have to practice a good diet, but animals as well.
I plan on going to vet school in the future and to pursue a career in animal care. I think although the knowledge that we have learned in the class is based on humans, you could apply the same principles towards animals with a balanced diet. I think that this could help me inform my clients. #beh353

Yes I completely agree. I think being honest and consistent is key to staying healthy. It’s all about having well balance meals, some sort of workout and eating in moderation whether it’s healthy or unhealthy.
Tom Carroll’s story, I found it inspiring. It’s impressive how one simple change, such as eating a Chick-fil-A salad every day, can help him lose over 132lbs. It shows us that staying consistent matters way more than being perfect. Taking small steps can really add up.

Yes I agree, I think schools can do a better job of promoting better eating habits. Those types of topics can help someone out in need of changing their bad habits.
I learned that many teens struggling with obesity face bullying and lack support programs. It made me think about how schools could do more to promote healthy habits without shaming students. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I learned that fat shaming should not have a comeback. It's more harmful to people who are affected by it. People who are overweight are aware of the situation they are in. I think we should keep our comments to ourselves and let people live out their lives how they want to. @beh353.bsky.social

One barrier I can relate to is cheapness of unhealthy foods. I find it relatable since many people go for cheaper, processed foods instead of fresh produce when money is limited. Healthy foods often cost more, which makes it challenging to eat well on a tight budget. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I am a big fan of mushrooms!! My fave type of mushrooms are enoki or king oyster. Mushrooms taste good with all kinds of dishes like noodles or rice.
