I’m currently teaching Genesis and from “underside.” Looking at what’s not been taught and especially from the women’s side. For Sarah and Hagar, I’m thinking that while Hagar is thrown out, her existence is acknowledged by G_d and her lament changes the system of one family having the blessing.
