Capitulating Democrats, insane Republicans, stochastic terrorism masquerading as an executive branch, awful economy. And now I’ve lost my job.

I hate this timeline so much.

He’s gonna make some nasty remarks tomorrow on account of rage and jealousy over crowd sizes. 🤣

A certain social media company (rhymes with “SpaceCrook”) disabled my account this morning. No idea why. I’m supposed to receive an email with the appeal process instructions, but that hasn’t happened yet. No reason given for any of this, of course. Sharing too many violin videos, perhaps?

“Violence is never the answer” is a ridiculous exaggeration. It’s not the ideal answer, and it doesn’t align with our nation’s purported (but rarely lived) values. So let’s not all get too overly self-righteous, mmmmmkay?

☠️ lies. Or he babbles nonsensically. He’s a convicted felon, a rapist, a misogynist, a racist. But Republicans continue to enable Project 2025 because…what? They think it means power and money for themselves? How stupid are they? Apparently, extraordinarily stupid.

What a stupid time we live in.

Why does my left shoulder hurt so much after violin practice? Because I’m not as bendy as I could be, and it takes some arm bendiness to curve one’s fingers around to the strings.

Man, if only I’d started learning this as a kid instead of as an old dude. 🫤😆

There’s just so much shady shit in this story, but this really sticks out. Folks in NLRB’s IT unit were so freaked out by what they saw DOGE doing that they wanted to notify the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Then this happened:

I finally found a useful way to repurpose Nancy Reagan’s idiotic 1980s anti-drug slogan.

Any time Trump or anyone from his administration tells anyone to do anything:

As a public school teacher, I see the future of America every day. But what kind of future are we leaving our kids when schools are attacked, healthcare is unaffordable, and families are falling behind?

We owe them better!

New — I wrote about the armed break-in at the US Institute of Peace and the subsequent court hearing that showed Trump and DOGE's threats of violence may be influencing legal decisions.
The Trump administration's 'assault' on Peace
The violent attack on the US Institute of Peace is a heavy-handed metaphor for this administration's goals.

The Trump administration has canceled a 60-year-old civil rights rule that banned federal contractors from engaging in racial segregation.
'Segregated facilities' are no longer explicitly banned in federal contracts
The Trump administration cut a clause from federal contracting rules that had been on the books since the 1960s: Companies are no longer explicitly prohibited from having segregated facilities.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved
