I’ve just listened to a lady on Radio 4 explaining that because people love Paddington, we should all love Jesus - because Jesus’s existence has been questioned just like Paddington’s, and yet Paddington appeared with the Queen and therefore Jesus exists. Not sure where marmalade sandwiches fit in.
