Early morning backyard after a day of snow. 5:54 am, February 8, 2025, De Pere, Wisconsin. I am looking forward to the day when this scene will be bathed in sunlight because the sun will rise at 5:07 am on June 21, 2025!

Late Sunday afternoon I noticed the light outside bore a strange orange-tinted hue. The sun was setting. As it dropped closer to the horizon, the sky increasingly began to resemble a distant conflagration. Cameras have a difficult time capturing an image as your eyes and brain see it. This is close.

Ornette the Cat is soaking up the heat and light of the winter sun at noon! Monday was a brilliant, sunny day here in Wisconsin and Ornette was enjoying it as much as I was! Have a great week everyone here in the Blue Skies!

In my office on a quiet November Sunday morning and I am checking social media on my computer when I realize I am not alone. Apparently, my little friend, Ornette the Cat, believes it is time for a treat or some snuggles or quite possibly both. I happily oblige! 🐈
