I worked in computing for 40 years, including AI. I retired in 2012.
I have committed to never use LLM technology.
Some of us should remain slop free.
I follow 250 blogs, I haven’t seen anything about any new OpenAI research. I did read where GPT 5 was a tremendous flop. Nothing since then.

There is no good answer to "hallucinations", & prolly won't be. LLMs really are just autocomplete on steroids.
The world is being filled with "AI" slop. Statistically it is somewhat accurate. But it is also sometimes completely & dangerously wrong.
& the data centers add to the Climate Crisis.

Decades ago, I would feed my 6 sibs & spouses & 20 offspring w a 23# or so turkey & a breast. Haven't seen 1 that big in a decade.

I have a video of a great egret swallowing a ~10" lizard. They come up right behind the houses, I thought they were curious, no, hunting lizards.
Turtles I think are safe from egrets.
