A Gmail spam folder email where the name doesn't match the email address and it has been sent bcc to multiple people. It reads: "How are you doing today? Hopefully very well, I went through your LinkedIn profile and decided to reach you through your private email, I learnt that this site is not a dating site, permit me to communicate with you here because I'm not active on social media. Thanks, as I await your response. Sincerely, Dr. David Michael."

A chart from a 2015 test indicating a distribution of childhood blood lead levels. While the more recent part of the chart indicates levels around 0-10 micrograms per dL, around Gen X, it spikes to 15-20 micrograms for the majority, with nearly half showing in the 20-25 microgram range. The tests of participants older than Gen X also showed greater lead exposure than millennials and younger, though nowhere near as much as the Gen X window.

Eventually, Musk realized that Pop-Tarts were best enjoyed toasted. So he opened a package and put two of them in the toaster, Thompson said. Only Musk made the rookie mistake of inserting the pastries horizontally, rather than vertically. When they popped back up, he had to stick his fingers into the toaster to grab his breakfast. This was a problem, and at about six in the morning Musk proceeded to scream, at full volume, "Fuck, it burns! Fuck, it burns!" Two older ladies at the front desk, nearby, watched in mortified silence.

I couldn't pinpoint its real origins, but I remember around 2009, I realized that a lot of affluent or aspiring dudes were taking up speedreading and now, stuff like Blinkist. It feels like you lose a lot of process / context using that method and now, those guys are holding the wheel.

I recently wrapped up fostering two cats for three-and-a-half months. Here is one of them looking exceptional.
