That’s right, the Pacers have EIGHT players in double digits!

Might be a new finals record

Beating 3/5 All NBA 1st Team players & 7/14 opposing All NBA players in the process.

Only NBA team to beat two 64+ Win teams in the playoffs to win a title.

All after their best player was “most overrated” & their team was counted out despite making the ECF the year before.

Hollywood Script rt

That would be crazy!

But he sometimes has games under 20 PTS (ignore assist numbers) so that isn’t happening

And remember: this is his first Playoffs 👀

It’s a great series between:
- The two best teams since New Years
- The MVP going against one of the most insane clutch runs in sports history by a player
- two franchises trying to earn their 1st Title
- The Best Offense of the Playoffs VS the Best Defense

Legitimately SO much to cover and hype up
June 7, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Exactly.

There’s been such a hyper-focus by ESPN on the biggest market teams & players for years.

It makes casual fan uninformed of most teams & their stars, sours smaller markets on the network, & hurts their total viewership.

If the network doesn’t care about the teams, why should the audience?

Nothing more dangerous in sports than being ahead of the Pacers late.

Pacers on Offense in Transition

Regular Season:
- 1.17 Points per Possession
- Tied 4th with the Thunder
VS
Playoffs:
- 1.3 Points per Possession
- 1st in Playoffs (Thunder 6th at 1.17 PPP)
June 7, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Combine that w/ Pacers being:
• the fastest Playoff Team (4.42, 2nd is CLE @ 4.33)
• The most distance covered in Playoffs (19.3 miles per game, 2nd is MEM @ 18.68)
• 2nd most touches & 2nd fastest sec per touch (434.4 & 2.87sec, both *just* behind GSW)

It is tiring to play the Pacers.

I am actively trying to figure out what picture to frame & put in my house & it’s a near impossible choice.

With how often Haliburton has done this, I’ve long made a resolution to wait until after the Pacers playoff run is over.

The Pacers just keep making the wait longer and the decision tougher.

All that matters is the score at the end, not the score from 12:00 Q1 to 00:00.4 in Q4

If you want Regular Szn Clutch Stats:

31/65 = 47.7% FG%
16/39 = 41% 3P%
25 AST : 5 TOV
14 REB
8 STL
2 BLK
119.1 O Rating
97.1 D Rating
June 7, 2025 at 2:39 AM
The NBA’s definition of “Clutch Time” = During Last 5 Minutes of 4Q/OT with the score +-5.

In the Clutch this Playoffs Haliburton is:

12/23 = 52.2% FG%
3/8 = 37.5% 3P%
8 AST : 1 TO
4 REB
2 BLK
1 STL
143.1 O Rating
109 D Rating

On top of ofc, the 4 game tying/winning shots in 4 series.
