A sunlit scene of an old blue upholstered wing chair sitting on a doorstep (stoop) planted up with dozens of pretty little succulant plants and cactus. They embellish the chair like jewels. 2 large spikey aloes dominate the seat. Another planter of similar plants sits to the right and front with a simple carved head painted white, protruding on a stick. Its long white hair perhaps made of string or straw. Its eyes, one blue. Picasso like... uneven. Full pouty lips. A huge and strikingly blue planter (with more aloes in it) and a brown wicker armchair behind the wingchair give it definition. Parlour palms, a piece of trellis, glass side windows, brass plate, and wrought iron railings typical of architecture in Edinburgh's Newtown provide an opulent backdrop

This is an eye catching shopfront at a bus stop near Haymarket Edinburgh for many reasons. I'm not sure why the sign in the window suggests it could ever be mistaken for a public toilet though 😅

Dreich. This picture summarises the word, if you didn't already know it. Chilly, damp, still, grey weather showing no sign of lifting any time soon. The sea of mud left after the dismantling of Edinburgh's Christmas market, where there was once green grass, completes the picture #secretedinburgh

Remake, Reuse, Recycle. A large snowflake style christmas decoration I sculpted from the pages of a book called How to Paint and Draw... not by reading this book anyway. A great workshop run by @jomacnamara @northlightarts @johnmuirbirthplace

A coffee table danse macabre just caught my eye. Reflects a certain mood
