My article for the Business Reporter on redesigning and future proofing the workplace for #AI

AI can give us the “gift of time” and here’s 3 things we can do in the workplace with that gift 🤗

Having one of those days when you feel like you should do something productive, but instead I’m persevering by eating snacks and reading in bed ☺️

I’ve been writing lots of short form articles for business magazines lately.
But my goodness do I struggle with the word count.
I would rather write 5000 word articles all day long than condense my ideas into 700 words.
I have too much to say ☺️

I would like to recommend daytime old people clubbing to all my #bluesky friends
It hurts your knees but it feeds your soul ❤️🤗

Really enjoyed talking about how we get more women leading in Tech and AI at #iwdexpo this week.
But every time I speak, by far the thing that most people come to talk to me about afterwards is when I mention the importance of positive self talk and inner confidence.
Love that.

If you're at International Women's Day #iwdexpo next week please do come along to my talk about how we can advocate for more #WomenInTech to be leading in AI.
To shape the future of work we need diverse voices to bring change and drive progress.
Sorry #maga we need more DEI, not less.

I was in my 40s, my son was 12 😮 when his first book was published. I don’t think even he realises how unusual that is.

Amazing experience being on Roundtable 📺 talking about AI and Davos, which I loved, and Trump and tariffs, which I did not love as much.

Next week is the WEF World Economic Forum at Davos.

And MY new book is going to be there, being used as a reference in 5 different sessions about responsible AI.

Using the book to advocate for a global collective intention to only use AI for the good of humanity.

On Amazon and Waterstones 🤓

Never fails to make me smile seeing my name on my book next to my son's name on his book on our bookshelf.

Author family ☺️📖

Slightly different subject matter though Tech Vs Superheroes 🤓v🦸‍♂️

Highlights from #my2024 continued

Bought a cute house in a lovely leafy area with a cute garden. The cats love it and the new blended family situation is getting on marvelously.

Gratitude is the key to happiness ☺️

Highlights from #my2024

How lucky am I to have had the same best friends for 36 years.
Also the highlight of my Christmas is our Christmas Eve meal. (And then cooking drunk when I get home ☺️)

Highlights from #my2024

After 25 years working on #SAP projects I was very giddy to visit SAP HQ this year. This was the mothership calling me home, this was my Wembley, my Lords 😊🤓

Highlights from #my2024

Book 2 was officially finished for launch in Feb and has had some overwhelmingly positive peer reviews. It focuses on how we use AI to change the concept of work, and NOT replace workers.

Can’t wait to tell you, and the world, more about it. #AIforGood

The co-author app gave a great summary didn’t it. Loved mine.
Very interested in seeing what else they can do.

My son wrote this book about superheroes when he was 11, published when he was 12. Super proud of him.
This is aimed at 8-12 year old children.
Would love any advice on getting reviews for him.

Grateful my book ‘Super User Networks for Software Projects’ was nominated for a Business Book of the Year award (didn’t win 🤷‍♀️)

I’m an English writer with an American publisher.
Reviewing my copy edits and getting very upset at the amount of z’s.

Yes my son’s published a book, yes he does all his homework, buys me gifts & helps in the house.
But what really makes me proud is seeing his Spotify Wrapped 😎
Raised the boy right!
Well the top 2 anyway makes me happy.
