Next week is the WEF World Economic Forum at Davos.

And MY new book is going to be there, being used as a reference in 5 different sessions about responsible AI.

Using the book to advocate for a global collective intention to only use AI for the good of humanity.

Having one of those days when you feel like you should do something productive, but instead I’m persevering by eating snacks and reading in bed ☺️

I’ve been writing lots of short form articles for business magazines lately.
But my goodness do I struggle with the word count.
I would rather write 5000 word articles all day long than condense my ideas into 700 words.
I have too much to say ☺️

Really enjoyed talking about how we get more women leading in Tech and AI at #iwdexpo this week.
But every time I speak, by far the thing that most people come to talk to me about afterwards is when I mention the importance of positive self talk and inner confidence.
Love that.

If you're at International Women's Day #iwdexpo next week please do come along to my talk about how we can advocate for more #WomenInTech to be leading in AI.
To shape the future of work we need diverse voices to bring change and drive progress.
Sorry #maga we need more DEI, not less.

My take on Trump and Davos? Surprising nobody, he missed the memo that Davos was meant to be about a call for collaboration.

The world needs to be united with a collective intention for what the end game is for AI and humanity.

Our next president will have to be technologically competent, at least , in order for us to sustain our place in the world.

This will become increasingly obvious over the next 4 years as AI gets more powerful

This isn’t necessarily bad. Truly. Done right, we will be a better, more equal society

If I was consulting for planet Earth on how to make sure we get widespread adoption of AI - this is how I’d do it.

There’s a lot of work needed to build trust & articulate the vision. To reap the benefits, we need to see AI as a tool not a threat. 👇

Um, Google's AI Principles are gone.

I spent 5 years working every single day to align our work with the AI Principles as originally written. They were critically important to everything we did, including what we *didn't* do.

Amazing experience being on Roundtable 📺 talking about AI and Davos, which I loved, and Trump and tariffs, which I did not love as much.

Companies in Germany spent a year testing a 4-day work week where hours were reduced by 20% but pay was not. Output remained at 100% or exceeded it. 73% of the companies plan to stick to the new schedule and the remaining 27% plant to tweak it or are still unsure.

When organisations invest in new software, focus often lands on training. But when the trainers leave, a troubling reality emerges:

The software isn’t being used effectively, or worse, not at all.

Why? Because training and adoption aren’t the same thing.

We need to think 'Software Adoption' not 'Software Training'
Introducing a new system to an organisation involves more than just competency on the new software interface, we are also influencing new behaviours and ways of working which requires a multifaceted a...

But what if we could change this,
And share what we accrue?
Universal basic income,
For us all, it's overdue.
Boss made a dollar,
Grandad made a dime.
But that was a poem
From a simpler time.

Boss made a thousand,
Gave my Dad a cent.
But that coin paid the mortgage,
Or at least it paid the rent.

Now bosses make a billion,
And give us workers jack.
Then smugly blame society,
For the labor that they lack.

In fact, I kinda miss knobs and dials and knowing big appliances would last 20 years and could still be repaired.
