Still a scientist but so many interests I no longer pursue. Walking, thinking, knitting, and playing bridge are my main pursuits to get through these times. I feel like I should be doing something, but what?
I object to people using the word "naughty" to describe what Epstein and others were doing. If underage children were involved, "criminal" is the word that comes to mind. Of course, we need to see all the evidence before that can be determined, so let's get this over and done.

Not seeing posts today to publish the entire Epstein files, guess it is my turn. We are overwhelmed by the destruction of our judiciary, the obliteration of Congress, the loss of science-based decisions, Ukraine, but is there not a little outrage left that the State Dept is using a Hotel printer?

I am an Independent and have actively worked to elect people on both sides of the aisle in the past. Today I was so impressed with Jeffries. And part of me wonders if former President Carter didn't fight to stay alive just so the 30 days of half-flag flying would encompass Inauguration Day.

Every New Year's I open the door, bang on a pot and yell: "Happy New Year! I miss you Grandpa." As long as I can get to the door, his memory will live. From his teaching 8 yr old me to read a racing sheet, to him sending me $20 in grad school when I desperately needed it, he was always there.
