Jonas my man, you have nothing to fear. I think it's fair to say the VFX community appreciates your work very much. Your critiques are always fair, professional and respectful. It's stuff we'd talk about in dailies, but often we have to work with the plate we're given.

Another excellent one. I think his critique about that JW shot of mine is on the money, it suffered from the old psychic cameraman. I bit of lag reacting to the craziness would have sold the realism a bit better. It's funny how our brains have gotten used to a certain style of action editing.

Uh huh, that man was hearing pictures and seeing sounds. When he closed his eyes and tilted his head back that was when the good good was kicking in. Tripping balls.

Same here, but in reverse for me. I love California, but I miss many of the benefits of Canadian life. I moved down here for my dream job and ironically that work has now moved up to Canada.

And that's only the events and reasons you can talk about. I think there was a lot of different factors at play as to why we didn't do the bulk of the work. The fact that the movie needed help to finish makes me think we would have lost our shirts on it.

I did a chat about Transformers with the @doublejumpacademy.bsky.social folks a while back. We used discord for the group to follow our screens, and probably something like OBS to capture. They posted to their youtube channel afterwards.
